Sustainable Configuration of the Tunisian Olive Oil Supply Chain Using a Fuzzy TOPSIS-Based Approach

Agricultural production of olive oil is a sector with high significance. The very important for several countries in the world, particular, Tunisia. In addition, impacts and extraction on economic, environmental, social issues are considerable. main objective this work to propose better configuration Tunisian supply chain (OOSC) from sustainable development (SD) perspective. proposed approach consists applying fuzzy technique order preference by similarity ideal solution (TOPSIS) method as multi-criteria approach. applied twice. first application, compare five possible scenarios agricultural phase. second three transformation major findings research include following: (1) best scenario phase intensified organic system, which based biodynamic growing. (2) (oil extraction) continuous two-phase system. Consequently, efficient way by-products processing use wet pomace preparation compost.
